Tips for Storing Tomato Seeds for Next Year


Tomato seeds are hardy and can be stored in a cool, dry place, out of direct sun. A good way to store seeds is to put silica gel packs (often found in consumer goods packaging) and seeds in a glass jar and store in a cool place like the refrigerator or basement. It is best not to freeze seed. Storing in a shed or garage has too much temperature variation.
